This video is a brief overview of our toolkit materials. At a glance, you will learn about each of the 4th Trimester Project developed tools, ideas for integrating into your workflows, and its intended purpose to improve care.

Each tool has an overview document with tips to introduce the tool and when.

The 4th Trimester Project is working to change the way America treats new mothers. We believe that respectful, patient-centered care, where all people feel heard and have their needs addressed in a timely manner, is an important part of this work. Optimal clinical support in the early days, weeks, and months after childbirth is important for the health and well-being of new parents and their baby. We are excited to support clinical and system change to improve care for moms and the care experience for providers. This work is essential – especially for black and brown families who experience the greatest risk of sickness and death while giving birth.
